22 Senior Constable Greg King cursed aloud as he struggled with the final stages of replacing a badly shredded tyre on the Toyota. The vehicle model was a Land Cruiser Troop Carrier with a longer wheelbase than the standard Land Cruiser, fitted with bench seats along each side of the cargo area behind the driver’s seat. It had a carrying capacity of eight comfortably, ten at a push; two in the front bucket seats, and four along each side in the rear.
