7 Waking and rising early was a habit Sarah had adopted a long time ago. There was something she found exhilarating about the early morning ambience that gently washed over the desert landscape as dawn broke over Yulara. Even at this early hour, activity bustled around the township as tourists in buses, private cars and even a few riding pushbikes, flocked to Uluru and jostled for the best vantage point in the designated viewing areas to get that one great photo of the sun rising over Ayre’s Rock.
