There are not many board meetings that people will claim proudly they were at, even when they were not. Not many board meetings have their own Wikipedia page or a sketch on Saturday Night Live.
The CEO of Hamrax had scrambled to get all the company"s major stakeholders into the boardroom on the top floor. He sent an aide to keep me busy while they quickly gathered to discuss the best strategy. What did I want? Why was I here? Where was the robot? After a heated discussion, they concluded they had no idea what was happening.
The head counsel suggested that they should not offer any information and that the purpose of the meeting was to get the Hamrax assets back. He said they should always refer to the robot as ‘our robot’ or ‘or property.’
