"Mackenzie!" I hear a voice say, followed by loud barking and whining. I am laying on my back and I begin to sit up, rubbing my temples as my head thumps painfully.
"Hmm, wha..." I trail off, not being able to see anything. It is completely dark around me. Not a single glimpse of light anywhere.
"Mackenzie, it's me!" The voice barks again. I feel relieved when I realise it is Nicole trying to be contact me. It's like her voice is everywhere...
"N-Nicole? Where are you? Where am I?" I ask her, standing up from the ground, or floor. I stretch my hands out so I don't bump into foreign objects, panic making its way into my body.
