The incessant ringing of the doorbell pulled me from my hard-earned sleep. It kept ringing like the person wanted to break it.
Groaning, I dragged myself out of bed and shuffled out of my room and to the door, still half asleep. When I opened it, Maya burst inside like a hurricane.
"Good morning, celebrity!"
She held up a paper bag triumphantly. "I brought muffins and hot chocolate."
I blinked. "What?"
Maya was already dropping the bag on my coffee table and sinking into my two-seater couch.
"You are famous, Eth."
She pulled out her phone and shoved it in my face. The screen was filled with a photo of me and Keanu stepping out of the car last night.
