Elize I left the appointment feeling relieved. The doctor was direct and careful. We did an ultrasound and compared it with the blood work I had done a few weeks before arriving at the community. The diagnosis was clear: I had anemia. Fortunately, it was mild. The doctor explained that with a better routine and proper diet, I would soon be fine. I received the prescription with the necessary medications and left the room with the feeling that, little by little, my health was adjusting.
