Alemão I wandered aimlessly along the asphalt, trying to organize my mind. But deep down, I knew where I would end up. It felt like an invisible rope was pulling me back, tied to my chest. I returned to the house I built, the house that was my home. I put on gloves and a cap to cover my hair. I didn't want to leave any trace. I jumped over the wall with the ease of someone who knows every detail of that place. I climbed the facade as I had done so many times in the past, each movement automatic, guided by memory.
