Jordan pov
Briar, Myles and I walk through the city to a museum about how this city arose and it's getting colder every second. We just keep walking until I hear Briar's chattering teeth. "Maybe we should just go back to the hotel," I say, "it's already 4 pm and the others will come back soon probably too." "No," says Briar, "what's the change you'll ever get back in this city? I will just go back and you can go to the museum." "Sure?" I ask. "Yea," Briar says and nods. "What are you going to do?" I ask Myles, "I have no problem with going alone." "You sure?" Myles asks. "Yea," I say, "it was an amazing day and I have no problem with going alone." "Then I prefer going back," Myles' says. "Ok," I say and smile, "see you later then." "Bye," Briar and Myles say and they walk away. Talk about the cutest couple ever! Like seriously.
I walk to the museum, which isn't far anymore and as I walk I started to get it a little warmer. As I reach the museum I see a little sign on the door. 'Closed' it says. Great. I don't feel like going back to the hotel at all. And that's how I end up drinking some coffee at a terrace. I laugh at myself. Here I sit, alone, in a little city where I don't know anybody in the middle of the winter.
"What're you laughing about?" some random guy asks and sits down at the other side of the table. "Oh nothing," I say, "just that I sit here alone in a random city where I don't know anybody in the middle of the winter." "Well you're not alone anymore," he says, "I'm Samuel." He pulls his hand forward for me to shake what I do. "I'm Jordan," I say.
"So how did you end up here?" Samuel asks. "I'm on tour with my cast mates," I explain, "but we've a day off." "And you spend that alone?" Samuel asks unbelievable. "Yes indeed," I say, 'What are you doing here?" "I live here," he says, "well not exactly, my parents on it is I basically live their." He points up above the cafetaria. "Nice," I say, "the coffee is delicious." "Thank you," he says, "do you want to see the most beautiful places?" "Oh, I would love too," I say, "but I've to go back to the hotel." "Well it was nice meeting you," he says. "Yea for sure," I say, "how many do you get from me for the coffee?" "Oh no problem," he says, "it's on the house."
I say goodbye to Samuel and head then back to the hotel. Not that they'll be looking for me already, but I'm just not looking forward to getting involved in something. Not that I liked him or something. Of course, that would just be stupid.
Brittany pov
"You said you should found my mom!" Emma says with tears in her eyes. "We are going to find her," I say, "but we just want to keep it as easy as possible." "I don't see an easy way anymore," Victoria says to me. "Me neither," I say Brittany and Victoria grabs her phone. "I'm going to call the police," she says. "Okay," I say. Victoria walks to somewhere were it is a little quieter and after a few minutes she comes back. "Up to the police station," she says. "And do you know where it is?" I ask her. "I know the street and the number," Victoria says. "I know where it is," Emma says then. "You sure?" I ask, but Emma nods clearly.
Victoria and I give her both a hand and like that we walk to the police station. Emma knows to find it right away. Seriously, why does she know where the police station is, but doesn't she know where she lives?? And it isn't even close. I'm pretty sure it's almost 10 minutes walking.
We walk into the police station where it scary silent is. "Hi Emma," the woman behind the bar says. I look confused to Victoria. "You called me right?" the woman asks Victoria. "Yes," Victoria says. "Seeing your face Emma didn't mention her dad works here," the woman says. "Not really," Brittany says. "Wait here," she says, "I'll go and get him."
After a few minutes the woman comes back with a man. "Daddy!" Emma says cheerful and she runs to the man. "Thank you so much," the man says, "my w.. ehh her mother already called all worried to me if I had seen her." "Her mother mother isn't your wife?," Victoria asks. "Yea," the man says, "we're in the middle of a divorce and our daughters are having a hard time." "I'm so sorry too hear," I say. "It's okay," the man says, "but wait a second, aren't you from The Next Step?""Yea, we are," I say and smile. "I went to the show yesterday with my other daughter," he says, "she loved it." "Glad to hear," Victoria says. "So did this was a day off?" he asks. "Yes," I say. "I'm so sorry for all of this on your day off," he excuse. "Oh no," I say, "it's fine, the day isn't over yet."
"Until when are you staying?" Emma asks. "Tomorrow morning," Victoria says.
"Oh," the man says before leave, "can I take a picture? My daughter will go crazy." I smile, "I've a better idea, we can make her a little video message." "That would be awesome," the man says. "What's her name?" Victoria asks. "Gwen," the man says as he hands me his phone. "He," I say, "didn't she asked that question to Trevor about his favorite tour moment?" "Yea," the man says, "that was her." "Cool," Victoria says, "I liked that question.
I held the camera of the phone in front of Victoria and me. And press on play. "Hi Gwen," I start and Victoria waves, "Brittany" "and Victoria here," Victoria continues, "love your name" "and love the question you asked yesterday," I continue. "So here's our answer," Victoria says. "Our favorite tour memory is the one we made yesterday," I say. "The electric current fell away so we hadn't any light until 3 am," Victoria says. "We all hung out in the dark and told ghosts stories," I continue. "But after a while we were scared and started telling just funny stories," Victoria says. "It was one of the best evenings tho," I say and smile. "We're really glad you liked the show," Victoria says. "Bye," we then both say and wave. I press on stop. We also take a selfie with Emma and then give the phone back to her dad.
"Well good luck with the rest of the tour and thank you very much again," the man says. "Thank you," I say, "it was nice to meet you Emma."
