White fluffy stuff

Briar pov We all gathered around in the back lounge when everyone was awake. I haven't said a word since yesterday, I just can't get the words out my mouth. Maybe I'm just still to much in shock. I sit on the couch close to Myles. Well, actually everyone sits close to each other, it's pretty cold. Myles has his arm wrapped around me. They wanted to know, so they don't have to come to me if they're bothered by it. "We've good news," Lamar stars, "it stopped snowing, for now at least. The bad news, well we've actually too much bad news." "Don't we have enough bad luck?" Brittany asks. "Everything is white, we've no idea where the road is," Lamar says, "we don't have any bars, so we're not able to call or text or whatever and eh." You see it's hard for Lamar to say the last thing. "There happened something which maybe caused the accident or which happened because of the accident," Lamar says, "Mr. Carter had probably a heart attack." Tears come in my eyes from sadness and fear. I sit on the couch and stare right forward. What is happening? How can this happen. "What now?" Victoria falls out, "where the hell are we? How are we gonna get back home? Is there enough food? Can they find us?" "I don't know okay!" Lamar snaps. "Let's stay all calm," Jordan says, "maybe we can find out where we are." "I'm NOT going in there as long as his body is there," Isaac says clearly. "We can't let him lay there," Trevor says, "soon we'll start to smell him, we've to bury him." Everything starts to turn and I can hear them talk but I've no idea what they say. I feel shaky and I start to sweat as hell. Here we are in the middle of nowhere with a dead body of someone I barely know. I scare out my gaze as someone grabs my hand. "You're okay?" Myles asks me. Everything stops turning and I see that everyone left, I've probably be gone longer than I thought. "I'm fine," I say, but my voice sounds to shaky to sound believable. He pulls my head against his chest. "It's gonna be okay," he says, "it's all gonna be okay." Myles pov You can't always plan how things go, but this is a little extreme. Outside everything is white, it snowed really hard the whole night. we're literally lost, it's one big mystery where the road is. And besides that, what to do with a dead body when you're lost. Maybe we shouldn't bury him. In all those movies where people are lost on an island they eat it to survive. How long are we gonna be lost? I'm pretty sure they'll don't find us within a few days. Yea I have to stay positive, and everyone is believing that they'll come get us today or tomorrow, but someone has to stay realistic right? Lamar and Trevor walk back in. They went to see what to do with Mr. Carter. "And?" I ask. "We put him in a garment bag and buried him just under the snow," Trevor says. "Doesn't that look like we killed him?" I ask. "Seriously Myles," Lamar says, "we don't have a choice and besides they can see later that it just was a heart attack." "If you say so," I say unconcerned, actually we don't have to worry about it, we'll just all die. "Okay stop it," Trevor says. "Stop what?" I ask. "Looking like you don't give a s**t because you think we're just gonna die," Trevor explains. "But we're gonna die," I say, "we-" "No," Lamar cuts me off, "I'm not ready yet to give up on life, and maybe we've a little bad luck, but we're still alive." "Put your time in trying to find a solution instead of putting your time in thinking about when we're gonna die," Trevor says. "Okay," I say, "I'm thinking already." Maybe they're a little right, maybe it's better not think about it. "He guys," Jordan says walking towards us, "we've to find a cave or something. We can't keep ourselves warm in here, we've to make fire to keep ourselves warm and that can't in here." "Good point," Isaac says who walks towards our little meeting, "I think it's the smartest if 4 people go see if they can find something and 4 stay around here." " "I think it's indeed the most important to stay together," Trevor says. "He guys," Brittany says as she walks from the back lounge to where we're standing, "so what's going on." "We're gonna see if there's a cave somewhere," Lamar says, "You're coming?" "Eh no," Brittany says looking instantly nervous out of nowhere, "I prefer staying here." "Okay," Lamar says. "I want to come," Jordan says. "Good," Lamar says, "I go too and Myles you're coming too." He looks at me which makes me terrified. Nope, I'm not going against it. "Then Jordan, Lamar, Myles and I will go," Trevor says, "and the others will stay here." I look on my phone. "It's 10 am right now," I say. "Then we'll go right now," Jordan says, "Lets go." We putt on some extra layers of clothes to protect ourselves against the weather. As the other three already are outside I walk to Briar and give her a hug, knowing it annoys Lamar and Trevor that I take this long. "We're back in a few hours," I say and give her a long kiss. "Okay," Briar says. "You're coming?" I hear Jordan ask as I stay there hugging Briar for a little while longer. "Yea," I say letting go of the hug. "Bye!" Jordan says cheerful to Briar before we leave the bus. "What have you done?" Jordan asks me before we reach Trevor and Lamar, "seems like something you do irritates them." "I honestly don't know," I say. Okay I do, but I think it's just better to not talk anymore about the fact that we're all just gonna die.
