Victoria pov

'Ready for the show tonight?' I ask Briar. We still walk through the city searching for the subway. Isaac and Trevor don't know where we are and it looks like Brittany is leading now. We walk at the back of the group and hopefully that will make Briar talk.

'Yea,' says Briar, 'I'm really excited!' 'Me too,' I say. I have to find a way to get it out her. 'So who is it who you like,' I ask right away, maybe she'll just tell, who knows. 'Oh just somebody,' she says looking to the ground. 'I want to know who it is!' I say. 'I'm not going to tell,' she says, 'you don't even know who it is.'

'So why don't you just tell who it is?' I ask, I think I maybe got her. 'No,' she says, 'it's just private.' 'So it's just small,' I say hoping she gets defensive and works herself in a corner. 'No,' she says, 'I want to spend the rest of my life with him.' Wow, she must really like him. Why doesn't she wants to tell?

'You would tell your family right?' I ask, plan B. 'Of course!' says Briar looking up from her toes. 'You're not only one of my best friends,' I say, 'you feel like family to me.' Briar laughs, '10 points for creativity !' I laugh, 'yea, but you feel really like my sister.' 'Well,' she says, 'you feel like my sister too.'

'Good,' I say, I got her, 'so what's his name.' 'You know what,' I say, 'I'll tell you this, his name starts with a D.' Bingo, I got something, it's not much but probably more than Britt and Jordan have. 'Really?' I say, now I have to find out is name. 'Is it Dan?' I ask.

'Nope,' she says

'David?'

'Nope'

'Daniel, Dorian, Danny, Damon, Dominique, Dion, Dean, Dylan?!' I blur the list of names.

'Nope, nope, nope,' she says, 'and isn't that last one a girl name?'

'Maybe,' I say, 'but you never know.'

I'm thinking a while, what other names with a D are there?

'DJ?' I ask

'Nope,' she says and smiles, I hate it that she's enjoying this.

'James? Jamie? Jimmy?' I guess.

Briar laughs, 'no it's a real D not just he sound of it.'

'I know it,' I say, 'it's Dleo'

Briar laughs even harder, 'just adding a D to a name doesn't work.'

'Ugh,' I say, 'stupid D'

'Tadaa,' I hear Britt as she points to the store where we stand for. 'Forever 21!' says Briar cheerful, 'Britt you're a genius.'

'Seriously?' says Trevor kind of disappointed. 'I'm not going in there,' says Isaac clearly. 'So you know the way back?' Brittany asks. 'Eh no,' says Isaac quiet. 'Then you've wait,' says Brittany as she walks after Briar and I into the store.' Jordan gives Brittany a high five. I laugh 1-0 for the girls.

Myles pov

Great. They got us. 'Good job guys,' I say. 'It's not our fault!' says Trevor defensive. 'No Trevor,' says Lamar,' it is your fault. You guys said you knew the way.' 'Sorry,' says Isaac.

'It doesn't matter anymore,' says Myles, 'I don't know what you are going to do, but I'm going to sit on that bench enjoying the sun.' I point to the bench and walk away. I hear the others still arguing, I have something else to worry about, and I have to speak to Briar. I send Briar a text.
