Jordan pov
It's 30 minutes before the show starts. We're just all warming up as Trevor sits down besides me. "He Jordan," he says way to enthusiastic to not sound suspicious, "what's up?" "Not much," I say, "why this interest." "Just checking in with one of my best friends," Trevor says with a big smile on his face.
"Okay Trevor," I say, "stop playing this game, what do you need." "Nothing!" Trevor says defensive. "I know you longer than today," I say raising my eyebrows.
"Okay," says Trevor, "I just wanted to know if you ever had a similar dream again."
"Did I miss something?" I ask confused. "You know," Trevor says sounding nervous, "with the big ticket summer concert, when.." "Oh my gosh," I cut him off, "you promised to forget about that." Right after I said that I look around, scared somebody heard us. "Sorry," he says, "kind of hard to forget." I sigh.
"So you also aren't together with him?" Trevor asks still kind of nervous. I think it's pretty funny he's kind of nervous to ask that.
"No," I say, "of course not, why would you think that." "Eh ... Just thinking," he says. "No way," I say, "you're not backing out. What make you think that." Trevor doesn't say anything. "Besides," I continue, "it doesn't make any sense after Victoria's rule."
"You're gonna tell me?" I ask impatient as he still doesn't react, "thinking isn't your biggest hobby, you'll never 'just think'." "Just something stupid Isaac heard in his dreams," Trevor says then.
"Since when are you so bothered by what he dreams?" I ask. "Because he thinks he heard something kissing," he spills out then a little irritated. "What's the problem if he just dreamed it?" I ask. "I eh," he says, "I heard it too, well I heard the sound and when Isaac said he heard something kissing I realized I did too."
"Wait," I say, "once again." "I heard one of the first nights in the bus two people, well call it better, making out," he says. I raise my eyebrows.
Thank you Trevor, I knew it. It was right what I saw a week or so before the tour, and now he says this I'm even more sure. I don't have any prove, I still have to convince Brittany and Victoria, but those 20 bucks are for me.
"So it wasn't you," I say, "it wasn't Isaac, maybe it was Lamar." "With who?" Trevor asks confused. "I don't know," I say, "maybe Brittany, I thought something was going on between them."
Oops. I'm pretty sure I scared him to death with saying that, I can see the jealous in his eyes. Sorry Trevor, I just had to know if you like her and I think you made it pretty clear.
"I ehh," says Trevor, "I should go." "Alright," I say, "see you in a few minutes."
I smile as he walks away. Sometimes answers are hard to get, but if you're lucky, the answer will just come to you.
Trevor pov
After the show I told everyone that we were staying at a hotel for a few days. Maybe a little late, but I forgot. Oops.... In the hotel everyone went to their own room and I went to the hotel cafetaria because I was hungry. When I got their, I saw whole packages of banana chips. I thought right away about Brittany and realized I had a good reason now to bring her a visit.
Just like that I knock on Brittany's and Victoria's door a few minutes later with the banana chips behind my back. "The door is open," Brittany yells from the inside, so I open the door and walk inside. "He," I say. "Hi," sad Brittany, "what's up?" I throw a package banana chips I had behind my back to Brittany. "Banana chips!!" she says excited and jumps up. As she opens it she waits. "What did you do with them?" she asks suspicious. "Nothing," I say, "but if you don't want them, I'll eat them all myself." I walk towards the package. "No no no no no," says Brittany fast, "don't do that to me and the banana chips!" I laugh.
"So where's Victoria?" I ask Brittany after a while watching her eating banana chips like its he best thing on earth. "Calling her mom," she says, "so it will be at least an hour before she's back."
"Poor mom," I say. "Poor Victoria," Brittany says, "if it's her mom it will be at least 3 hours." I laugh. "My sister called me yesterday," I say, "she doesn't really care I'm on tour, she still calls me every week. Like I've two other brothers, can't you just tell them your problems." "Only your sister calls?" Brittany asks. "Yea," I say, "and now and then my mom and dad. Don't get me wrong, I love my sister and that she comes to me." "That's so sweat," Brittany says and she smiles.
"And you?" I ask. "I text a lot with my sister," Brittany says, "and call often with my mom and that." "Which day is it today?" I ask, I have literally no idea which day it is. "19 January," Brittany says. "And how many days are we gonna spent in the bus after tomorrow?" I continue. "3 or 4 Brittany says.
Our next show is a few thousand kilometers from here. Don't ask me why we're not flying. 4 days in a bus in the winter over quiet roads because of the snow. No, I'm not looking forward to it. Besides we'll also have food on the bus for when there's to much snow to continue, sounds good right? Luckily there's a tracker in the bus, so it's not possible we'll ever get lost.
"Trev!" Brittany almost yells which wakes me up out my daze. "What?" I say. "I asked you something," Brittany says. "Sorry," I say, "what did you ask?" "What are you going to do tomorrow?" she asks. "Now that we know where the subway is, we're going somewhere," I say proud, don't ask me why. "Somewhere," Brittany says raising her eyebrows, "interesting."
"And you?" I ask. "Shopping with Victoria," she says exciting. "I didn't see that coming," I say sarcastic. "I know right," Brittany says also sarcastic. "Don't buy too many clothes. I'm not gonna get you when you've too many bags," I say. "Don't even worry about it," Brittany says. "My sister ones went shopping, and had so many bags, she literally couldn't get it home without my help," I say as I laugh. Brittany laughs too. "And that's how you became her favorite brother," she says. "Pft," I say, "of course." I stand up. "But I got to go," I say, "tomorrow a long day probably." Brittany looks asking. "130% chance we'll get lost," I explain at laugh. "Well good luck then," she says. "Thank you very much," I say and walk back to my own room.
