The goddesses formed a ring around the worn-out dancefloor, making me stand in the middle of it. They joined hands and hummed in a melody I felt like I had heard before! Their dance was different from the one they showed us earlier, spinning around themselves as they rotated around me, casting their spell with voices that seemed out of this world. Their hair and dresses were lifting in the air when they jumped barely above the ground, just enough so their feet wouldn’t touch the pave.
The goddesses extended their hands in my direction, with their eyes widely open, illuminating, emitting the same light that surrounded their heads like crowns. Small glowing particles traveled from them, landing on my skin, weightless, neither warm nor cold, sinking into my body without tickling me or causing me pain.
«How do you feel?» the witch asked me. She was watching the ritual carefully, memorizing every word and gestures the young-looking ladies said and did.
«I don’t know…Did it really worked?» I asked troubled, worried that I was responsible for whatever went wrong.
«Try it out! Just concentrate on this moment that’s happening right now and time-jump right in the start of it!» Theris suggested. Simple as it seemed, it wasn’t easy bringing a memory that happened seconds ago, clearly in my mind.
«It can’t be that hard!» Tania commended.
«When you do find the memory, try saying something like “go!” or “now!” to help your ability activate» Priscilla advised me.
It was pretty much like her “instant spells”` no rhyming was necessary and speaking the word out loud helped only the caster’s mind to actually materialize his intentions. A strong mage’s mind could cast simple spells without verbal elements. Of course, I was only a rookie then- but even now I cannot use my time-jump without speaking a word.
«Maybe we should have-».
«Go!*»
«It can’t be that hard!» Tania commended. I stood still, looking at them. “Did I just…?”.
«When you do find the memory-». « -I should use a word to make it work» I guessed the witch’s phrase. She looked surprised but also somewhat intrigued! The transition was so smooth I felt like nothing had changed!
«Good job! Remember, you can only go back in time and you cannot restore any actions without making them again» Oxia informed me. With this blessing, we actually had our second chance.
«Now it’s time for our kisses» Nene reminded us.
«Well, you already did more-».
«I would be honored» I interrupted the witch before she ruined the best moment of that lifetime.
«As you should be» the girls replied.
Unna approached me first. «Keep your hands to yourself» she ordered me. I didn’t risk moving but, then, even if I did, I could go back and change it! The girl pressed her lips against mine, keeping them shut, and stopped after a second. Truly, it didn’t seem like much to me.
«Go!*».
Dua approached me, looking in my eyes for silent permission. She touched my cheek with her right hand and kissed my upper lip but pulled back before I could kiss her too. She then winked at me and returned to her place.
«Go!*».
Theris stood in front of me with her lips slightly pursed. She brought her face closer to mine and, after a brief pause, she kissed me. Her kiss was different since she let me move my lips, kissing hers and pull back on my own account. That felt really nice!
«Ehm…».
«Go!*».
Tasha came to me slowly. Having her eyes half-closed, she grabbed my shoulders weakly and joined her lips with mine. After that, she remained motionless even when I tried kissing her back! The moment was kinda awkward and I heard some of the girls giggling but, whatever.
«Ehm…».
«Go!*».
Fovea approached me scarily. I realized I hadn’t heard her speak once! «Hi» I tried. She seemed even timider as she crossed her feet and looked down. With nothing to lose, I touched her chin and lifted her head, planting a small kiss on her mouth. Her face turned all red and she rushed back, hiding behind the other goddesses.
«Go!*»
Oxia came closer, with a glare that made me freeze. She stood in front of me, looking directly into my eyes, and waited for me to kiss her. I’m not proud of saying it but, I froze under the pressure.
«You’re scaring him, O» the girls behind her shouted.
«Ehm…sorry but-» Priscilla tried to make a point.
«Oh, for Heaven’s sake! Here!» Oxia said dissatisfied and kissed me, stopping the moment she came I contact with me, like a mosquito’s bite. “I’ll do better the next time around!”
«Isn’t it weird-».
«Go!*».
It was crazy how, to me, it seemed like I was kissing one girl after another when the whole bless-you-with-powers thing should have the opposite outcome. I thought that’s what Priscilla was trying to say over and over but I didn’t wanna hear it before I got my chance to share a kiss with Elaina. “Giving a kiss to someone who craves to kiss you must feel pretty amazing!”.
Savinna walked towards me, ready to receive her kiss. Before I could do anything, she ran her fingers through my hair, touched my waist, and kissed me with her mouth open! Her tongue made a trip on my lips, sucking them aggressively in her mouth before releasing them, allowing me to take a breath! She left me in quite a shock but I did keep some notes!
«Ehm…sorry but, isn’t it weird-».
«We get it! Go!*».
Etna seemed worried about her performance. She came forward, pushing her lips together and keeping her hands crossed. I wanted to try what Savinna just did with me! I touched the back of her neck gently and put my other hand down to her waist. I kissed her with my mouth open but when she felt my tongue, she got surprised! I stopped for a second, looking at her while taking a small breath, before joining my mouth with hers again. The goddesses were mumbling about it and Etna swallowed her words.
«Hurry it up, you two!» they complained.
«Go!*».
Nene came galloping towards me. Her cute curly pigtails swung behind her as she landed in front of my face. She had a sneaky smile that made me smile myself and, she kissed my flattened lips, sucking them slightly, enjoying my smiling muscles’ resistance. She then touched my nose with hers and looked at me with sorry eyes, biting her lip like telling me that one kiss just wasn’t enough! Even if we did it again though, it would just be the same kiss for her…
«Ehm…».
«Go!*».
Tania came forward, wearing a polite smile. Confident and sure about herself, she cupped my face with the palms of her hands, squeezing my cheeks in an unappealing grimace. After kissing my warped-up face, she regained her polite smile and walked away. I can say, I was happy changing this first kiss back.
«Go!*».
Elaina looked me in the eyes seductively, smiling impatiently. I moisturized my lips, moving my weight awkwardly from one foot to the other. I was clenching my toes inside my shoes out of anticipation. The goddess stood before me, taking the liberty of making the first move. She walked her fingers on my chest, with her head titled down and her eyes looking up to me. Taking a short breath, she came on closer to my face and, sticking her mouth on my ear, she whispered: «Let’s make this a good one, ok?».
My eyes opened widely when she started scratching the back of my neck gently, right at the point where my hair stopped growing. I hugged her, lowering my hands to her waist but I later grabbed her butt when she climbed at me! Her buns were soft but smaller than I would like them to be. They felt great, nonetheless! Her legs were rubbing against my thighs as she was sucking my earlobe` she was so good at it that I started feeling stiff in my pants.
«Get a move on, girl!» Savinna shouted but I nearly missed her every word.
Elaina moved her lips along my skin, reaching my neck as she pulled my head back. «Finish it, you w***e!» I heard the nasty words coming out of the other girls. I didn’t have the strength to get mad at them` my whole body was feeling warm and I thought I would melt!
«Promise you’ll rewind time, ok? I don’t want to have them looking at me like that» she begged me, taking her sisters’ comments lightheartedly. I nodded- my voice was not to be trusted!- and she leaned back, pulling me forward and kissing me while hanging from me with all of her body's weight. Her tongue was luring mine to explore her mouth and I couldn’t help myself but push her harder against my body as I was getting my tongue as deep in her throat as it could go.
Right then, I stood up straight, bringing our bodies together and kissing her lips aggressively before pulling my head back, letting my tongue slide on her throbbing lips. As I put her down, we both gasped for air hungrily. Even though that was the best kiss I would give for a really long time, it was the smile on her tired face that made it worth even more!
« About time! What were you thinking?» Twilla asked.
«Don’t go nagging on me! I only wanted to expand the loophole a bit more, is all!» Elaina tried to defend herself.
«The loophole?» asked the witch, unfazed from the events that had been taking place in front of her, mere moments ago!
« No time for that! You have one more kiss to give» Theris said, worrying too much about it.
«Hurry, you buffoon!».
«Go!*».
Twilla rushed towards me, kissing me quickly on the lips. Even if I remembered every small detail about Elaina’s performance, my body wasn’t in the same state as I had left it! «Ehm…sorry but, isn’t weird that you know how to follow your order?» Priscilla asked.
«Aren’t you catching up fast?!» Dua commended.
«What is this loophole you talked about?» it was my turn to ask.
«Well, as you might guess, not all of us were so eager to kiss you» Twilla explained.
«I was» Elaina shared with no shame.
«To complete the blessing, we all needed to come in contact with you like this, at the same time» Theris informed me.
«Why though? The power is working all right» I asked them, confused.
«To seal it» Priscilla guessed, leaving Theris to continue her explanation.
«Yes. If not for the kisses, Chronos could steal this moment in time and erase it. I’m sure he’ll notice soon» the goddess said.
«So, you were going to aid us from the beginning» the witch caught on to their motives.
«Indeed we would!» Etna answered truthfully.
«It wouldn’t be fun to lose this opportunity! Seeing the Defiant of Gods trying to outsmart twelve goddesses was such a good show!» Nene laughed.
«Don’t underestimate us, witch. We exist for millennia» Tasha said half-asleep.
«Now run. I fear Father is already aware of your progress» Oxia told us. The witch erased her sigil, opening the door to the mansion. I had an eerie feeling about what was waiting for our entrance there.
«Needless to say we won’t help you any further. Use the gift we gave you accordingly» Unna warned us in a serious tone.
«Right…» Priscilla answered, already aware of that.
«Remember, witch. It is you alone who can overturn the decisions of gods…and goddesses» Theris advised her, before we stormed inside the observatory once more, along with Alexander, right before we die.
