While we were searching for Bella, word had come about Zia's part in all of this as a healer. She was to heal the lands and the people. We didn't completely understand until the moment she walked in and started touching the dark fae.
Who weren’t dark at all. They were the men and women who had lived in this kingdom before evil men came in and took over. Using the darkness to control everyone. They were trying to find a way to use the darkness to take over the world. Zia could see what they were doing and knew she had to come here and fix the kingdom so that we, in turn, could help our beautiful loving mate fix this realm.
They were trying to make her bond with Vico, and then they would use her powers to help them take over the kingdom. Apparently just being here with the guidance
