She blinked many times to make sure she wasn't dreaming. What was he doing here?
" Can you see me?" His deep voice confirmed her thoughts.
He was actually here with her.
" You..." She could hardly speak as she struggled to even keep her heavy eyelids open.
She felt her body being pulled up from the floor as he held her in his arms, but instead of feeling that washing relieved sensation that she was gonna be saved, she cringed at his presence instead as if it was finally dawning on her that he was actually here, and she wasn't just imagining things.
" Let go of me" she mumbled softly in the darkness.
Silence. His red glowing eyes had changed back to their normal color, and she couldn't make out his expression since the light from the torches wasn't reaching his face
