Shapeshifters are those known to take forms of other creatures. They have the ability to turn into an animal of caliber, depending on how powerful they are. Some can take the form of a serpent, some can transition into wild animals, all depending on the degree of power they have.
The stronger, the more chance to be able to transform into an animal that is closer to the top of the food chain, and not go mention but even in that state their powers would still be heightened.
