The CT had revealed a mild concussion, and the doctor had urged Logan to take it easy. Logan had protested with irritation that a mild concussion was nothing. The doctor informed him that, when combined with his head injury from a year before, a concussion of any kind was not something to take lightly. Ben, of course, had been there, asking a lot of questions that had Logan shaking his head.
Julia found herself looking to Ben as an ally. He glanced her way and smiled, and then Logan had left with him to tie up a few loose ends before they could leave.
