Rubeus sat in his office a month later going through all the replies to his mating ball. He had gone out of his way to invite the old Kitsune pack, which he found out had been renamed the pack to the Haven Pack. He spoke briefly with Alpha in charge, and he got along with him from what he could tell. His name was Raz, and he was a Lycan.
He also found out that they actually had several fallen faeries who left the realm, werecats, wolves, foxes, and the Kitsune. He was planning on going to visit the pack, but instead decided to invite the new Alpha to his pack, and if they got along he'd offer an alliance. Alpha Raz had more than agreed to this, and was thrilled to have been invited at all.
He heard that several packs were purposely not inviting him, and claiming he wasn't a real Alpha.
