Kad ran to the back of the house, and silently opened the back door, and shut it behind her. She looked around, trying to remember which way he told her to go. 'Eve?' She felt her beast sign at her, and she placed a hand on her stomach. She whimpered, and her beast did also. They were leaving their mate, and they didn't want to.
She sighed, and took off running toward the forest cutting between the trees. The only bright side was she didn't have a scent, so it would make it harder to follow them. She kept running, and frowned when she felt someone watching her, and almost like they were gaining on her. She was surprised because Eve was giving her everything she could, but she wasn't nearly as fast as she was in her cat form.
