Kai woke to Kad whimpering in her sleep, and then gasped as she suddenly started to struggle, bursting out into tears. Kai, instantly feeling the distress of his mate, wrapped his strong arms around her, and she buried her face in his chest sobbing. She breathed in his scent deeply, trying to calm down. "What's wrong baby?" She slipped her arms around his neck, and clung to him tightly. "Daddy!"
