Rubeus took a bottle from Raven as she passed him down the hall, and he walked it into Billys room. He frowned when he heard Ruby sobbing hysterically, and he walked over to the bed. He looked at Rachel, and she shook her head. "I'm sorry, Alpha, he simply didn't make it."
He frowned, looking at Ruby, and handed the bottle to Rachel. "See to it others get this please." He laid a hand on Ruby's shoulder, and she instantly moved from Billy to wrap her arms around his neck, and sobbed. He didn't see any pain in her, and wondered if she had already rejected him as a mate.
