He noticed Taranis was just smirking at Rei, and had an arm around her waist stroking her back. "I'd risk anything to keep you safe Rei."
He looked at Taranis holding out his phone. "A woman named Morgana called, and she wants yu to give up my sister for the cure, and become her mate or she will let everyone die." He watched Taranis raise an eyebrow, taking his phone. "Morgana was my father's lover. She wanted me to take her for a mate, but I refused. She has a string of lovers, and I knew what would happen if I chose her. My father tried to force me, but I said no since he killed my first mate."
