I wandered down the hallway without any particular direction, my heart still racing from what I had seen. Suddenly, I heard a noise coming from a room—someone was coming out. I ran as fast as I could. “What the hell are you doing?” a man’s voice called from behind me. I turned into another part of the floor and saw a group of men. One of them noticed me, and I immediately turned back. On my left, there was a single room at the end of the corridor. I slipped inside quickly and locked the door. “Safe… for now,” I whispered to myself, my chest heaving. “Hmph!” I turned my head and froze. “What the hell are you doing here? Who are you?” “Please… help me!” I begged. “Where the hell did she go?” a voice muttered, irritated. From outside, the i***t’s scream rang out again. “Please, I beg you!” I shouted desperately. “Stay there!” He stepped out. “What’s going on?” someone else asked. “Sir Dante, a girl earlier downstairs asked me about Mr. Jonz. I thought it was suspicious, so I came to inform you… but she followed me all the way up here—” “Enough! Don’t waste your time with nonsense. Go back to work.” “Yes, sir!” The man went inside and closed the door behind him. “Why did you ask for Nariasin?” Dante’s voice was cold and commanding. …This name? For a few seconds, I was completely lost. “Can’t you hear me?” Dante snapped. “I…” What the hell was I supposed to say? “Can’t you speak?” “I… I asked because… I want to buy this place,” I stammered. He laughed like a madman, a terrifying, wild laugh. “What’s so funny?” I asked, my voice trembling. “Are you serious?” he said. “Go out and stop bothering me with these nonsense things.” Before I could protest, he threw me out. Idiot! I went back downstairs. The atmosphere there had changed completely—everyone was panicking. “Quick! Go deliver this to the boss, hurry! Start working!” someone ordered. What was happening here? “Where have you been?” Sara appeared behind me, clearly scared. “I’m here,” I said. “What happened with that waiter?” she asked. “Nothing. I just suspected him for a moment.” “He’s here. We have to be very careful!” “Where is he? I want to see him,” I asked. “Over there…” Sara pointed. I turned my head and froze once again…
