Alias POV “Alias, this is all a mystery. Apparently Lucas and May have been dating for 3 years.” Dan said Alias was not shocked but he had to mask it. “What do you mean by that” he asked acting like he hadn’t known about all this “Lucas and May had always been in a secret affair long before now. May is Evelyn’s best friend but apparently she has always been jealous of her. Stats say that the Jandres are going through a hell of financial issues and Mr Jandre has kicked his daughter out of the family. I feel so sorry for her” Dan reported Alias couldn’t say anything. He was shocked this time around. He had nothing to say at all. He really did feel for her too. He felt bad but he had to seize the opportunity. Anyone could call him selfish but he didn’t have a choice. He had to execute his plan if he wants Evelyn to himself EVELYN POV Just like that she had to start again. She had nowhere to go. No one to call friends not like she had any. She had to let her workers go and then close down her company. She didn’t have anything on her . She had her mother’s parents who stayed in Mexico. She thought of putting a call through across to them but was skeptical about it. Her abeulo and abeula would never abandon her. They had assured her years ago. She didn’t have much to take her abroad. It was the early hours of the morning and she was on a deserted street, she was scared to the brim. She kept on moving. She finally saw a restaurant to get food from and with the little she had she charged her phone and also ate alittle. She slept for some time before deciding to continue her journey to help her life. She walked till she got to the busy part of the country. The day began to unfold so yes the street to would become busy. People walking pass with their neat suits and tie with their day having an aim. Evelyn just stared. She said nothing but stared. She looked at herself, remembering she was once dressed this way but hers was better. She had a chauffeur, a luxurious car and everything one can imagine but her she was in a jean and a ripped hoodie with no ambition. She tightened her grip on the little backpack she was holding and whispered to herself,” I have no choice but to survive”. She had no choice but to survive. She hadn’t heard a word from her mother or father and also her sister. She was scared for them. She kept on moving . Stopping by every little business shop she saw to ask for a job so she could make ends meet to help her self but once she steps inside everyone knew her. They either gave a pitiful look on their faces or they laughed at her. She would have to raise her head high and walk pass. But deep down she was torn apart. After searching and finding nothing her phone buzzed. She thought it was her mum as she was happy to see it but it was a mocking message from her own best friend sending her an invitation to her marriage happening 3 months from then. Evelyn broke down. She said nothing she didn’t scream she just let the tears falll. To her nothing hits hard than someone you had given your life to leave you for someone else. She didn’t know how long she had sat down there but when she realized herself it was almost down and she had nowhere to go to. A tire screeched behind her and she turned to see a convoy surrounding her. A man in a good looking suite with perfect styled hair came down and walked down to her “Hello Ms Jandre”, he said “Do I know” but before she could finish her statement she had fallen on the ground
