THE PROPOSAL

Chapter4

As she waited for Robb to arrive, her hands were starting to shake even more from the tension. The coffee cup she was preparing to take to the customer was also shaking from side to side, keeping up with the shaking of her hand. When Anna realized that the coffee was about to spill, she dropped the coffee on the table in one move. Sara had done her service and came to her. When she saw that the coffee was spilled on the table, she wiped the spilled coffee stains on the table with the napkin she took in her hand. Anna had her hands folded in her lap. she took a deep breath to calm herself, but it was no use. Anna was still frightened like crazy. Last night, she did the most ridiculous thing in her life and Robb Ballmer made an offer. But at least she would never abandon her unborn baby. She would not be like her mother. When Anna thought of this, her eyes filled with tears. When a tear fell on her hand without noticing, Anna would wipe her tears unnoticed. She absolutely couldn't believe she was doing this. When she saw the head waiter John approaching him, she quickly recovered herself.

“Anna, are you okay? You haven't been looking well lately?"

Anna: “Can I go to the bathroom, sir?” John gave her permission after taking a look at the tables in the restaurant. Anna quickly went to the bathroom.

Anna quickly closed the bathroom door after her and turned on the water. Tears started flowing again as she saw her reflection in the mirror. After washing her face, Anna remembered the phone call she had had with Robb Ballmer last night. Last night, when Sara got her phone number, Anna had been circling her room for nearly an hour, finally summoning her courage to call him. The phone was picked up after ringing for a long time.

“Hello,” Anna nearly stopped her heart when a male voice sounded. After Anna cleared her throat,

"Hi, I'm Anna from the restaurant of Gusta" the man didn't answer right away, after waiting for a while,

"I didn't recognize you??"

"I'm a waitress over there," said Anna, stammering,

"Yes, I'm listening to you." The man's cold talk was discouraging Anna.

“I.... Mr. Ballmer.” Anna took another deep breath, she needed to sound like a coquettish woman.

“I've been watching you for a long time and I want to have s*x a night with you” Anna had decided that there was no point in going any further.

There was no sound on the other end of the phone, and after a while Anna heard a sound of laughter. This laughter discouraged Anna even more. She swallowed. “Well Anna, I appreciate your courage, so you want to spend a night with me, but you should know that I never date ugly women, you should send me a photo of them” Anna was glad that he didn't accept her offer right away, but worried that she might not like him. He didn't know what to say. “You're quite ” “What fun if it's that easy. “I want to have fun,” he said. Anna couldn't believe what she was saying. “Come to Gusto tomorrow night.” Anna hung up in panic, her hands still shaking with excitement.

After Anna finished her work in the bathroom, she went back inside. The trembling of her hands increased as Robb arrived. The coffee cup in her hands was shaking with her. She folded her hands in her lap. She was taking deep breaths, but it didn't do her any good. When Anna touched her heart, she felt her heartbeat.Anna was afraid. She had made perhaps the most ridiculous offer of her life, but at least she believed it was the most reasonable choice for her. Robb Ballmer wasn't coming, and he probably thought She was crazy. Maybe Anna was really crazy. How was it possible for her not to lose her mind after contracting such a disease at a young age, and penniless? How could it make sense?

Anna's eyes filled with tears again. That's when she saw him. Robb Ballmer entered the restaurant. He was wearing an elegant black suit. Anna felt her mouth dry as she looked at him, and she swallowed. He cast a glance at her and started walking towards her. Anna's heart started to beat even faster. When Robb got right in front of him, he stopped. He unbuttoned the cuffs, took off his coat, turned slowly and handed it to Anna.

"Would you leave this instead?" He pointed to the cloakroom.

Anna wondered if she knew who he was. “Of course, sir,”

Anna raised her head to hide her excitement. Anna was surprised that he didn't respond as Robb made his way over to his desk. Then why had he come here? After Anna delivered the coat, she went to Robb's desk to get her order. Robb was busy checking his phone. Anna coughed lightly. "Can you decide, sir?" said. After Robb had placed his order, Anna had just turned around when Robb said, "I like this game, I texted you, I'm waiting there tonight." For a moment Anna felt like she couldn't breathe.

When Anna quickly made her way to the kitchen to order, she leaned against the wall and put her hand to her heart. Anna knew she was being silly, but she had no other choice. He was broke and the disease did not respond to medication. She would have to have surgery soon if she didn't get pregnant soon, but she couldn't afford it. Anna thought she was too young. Robb Ballmer was the best candidate for the job. She was avoiding marriage until the very end. According to what he read in the magazine news, he was a very flirtatious man. After she got pregnant, Anna would hide it for a while and finally show up. She too would get the baby and the money she needed so that she could live a happy life with her baby, and for now, her plans were going well.
