He gripped the back of Cai neck like a pup in trouble often I watched Alpha Trent and his mutt son walk backup the hill. I ready myself for the hell I was about to hear, as he sat me to my feet with a stare I knew too well he said you are a broken Alpha for having me and not a son.

His eyes soften, rubbing my new wild hair that slip from my ponytail with a sad smile. He spoke sweetliy not everyone can readily agree to change, and they get left behind dear child. Then I had to duel my mother trying to stuff me in a damn dress in the end. She won I’m standing with this stupid long skirt and a blouse with thin straps, a two piece.

Why were we even going to the mating ball only a few members of the pack were of age or eighteen. It’s pack business to see what members I’ve gained. More importantly who I’ve lost my father chimed. I thought it over I guess I understood for business purposes. It’s just the fact mom wants a princess so bad & got me the only child. I watched a swarm of girls in the dance hall, separated from the adults. Trying to get the guys attention I rolled my eyes. How desperate are they the only one I thought to be cute was Cam. I wondered if he thought she was his mate perhaps not right. I looked down at my outfit hating the thought that maybe my mother was right. About changing my wardrobe. The skirt was nice, but the long length was not my favorite part. I pulled my hair loose from its band, letting it fall over my shoulders and cover my face. I walked into the loud noise of teens, chattering, frozen in place. Her hair was to one side of her face lips, slightly red and pouty. She looked up and our eyes locked. I knew my nightmares was real Tori in a dress. A group of girls approached me all smiles.Tori stayed against the wall with a board expression, staring into the same direction as she was before.

I followed her gaze to some guy talking with a blonde girl. He wasn’t that impressive and neither was she. So Cai some of us were going to play spin the bottle I stole from my dad’s stash she giggled. Revealing cheap whiskey from her bag I smiled of course I’ll go if you’re going. I forgot her name or just never heard it to begin with. Her smile grew bigger If that’s possible. Another girl added is your friend here coming perhaps.

Brent lifted eyebrow now I am wrapping an arm around her neck and leading the way. Morgan begin walking with Brett she came to a slow whispering, in Tori‘s ear who still seemed over it. No absolutely not I’ll wait here Tori rushed. You owe me Morgan pointed,then whispered in her ear again. Tori’s face went blank this is blackmail she huffed in annoyance. Walking, slowly off-the-wall I follow behind her and before we stepped into the courtyard I grabbed her arm.

She jerked around, staring at me with that fire Cai If you’re in the mood for a fight, I don’t mind giving you a refresher course. So you knew it was me a smile broke my lips. How so I looked at her lips again trying to focus on her velvet eyes. I just do sure you’ve change, but you never really changed. He stared at me for a moment, you look different too, but the same he said for one you’re in a skirt. I guess and something other than a T-shirt. As the game started I watched Cai down four shots like he was nervous. Whenever the bottle spun and picked the girl closest to me pro my ass I mocked him.
