Silence was what met them outside.
None ever spoke a word. Just heaves of breath from the previous struggle. How they ran and ran through the inconsistencies of the cave, never looking back, and not a word. The cave is angry and it speak its wrath by the means of trembling, destructing. Sharp stalagmites from earlier fall from the ceiling of the cave. Many small and easy to endure but others… some are twice that of a human’s size, and if they were unlucky enough, they might just die unceremoniously.
Apparently, it seems that life is done playing with them, for now. Safely, the four of them were able to leave the cave.
