It is when you grieve so much, your soul detaches. And what is left, is rendered unable to do anything, unable to cry. When Selene and Alexandria have arrived and before told of what happened, the vibrant eyes they had that shone even in the dark and the rain, have all gone. Replaced with these like that of a doll.
