Trigg felt his body surging with adrenaline. He finally had enough energy to put his plan into action. He glanced back and forth and saw two guards next to his cell, with guns holstered at their sides. He then focused on the lock on the cell. It was rusted over with age. With all of his strength summoned, he could surely kick it down. That would catch them off guard, then his wolf could emerge. There was no time to waste, so Trigg began to strip in the dark corner where the guards weren’t watching him. He stepped as far away from the cell door as he could, breathing deeply and even praying to himself. “Get this done,” he whispered. “Get this done.” Like a rocket into the sky, Trigg fired both legs into the weakest portion of the cell door.
