STORMY Stormy sat in the front room of the new house. It wasn’t a solid brick two story with a white picket fence, but it would do for now. She and Trigg had managed to find a small place not far from the military base. She was watching the night fall and the lights in the surrounding houses coming on as kids were called in for supper. She smiled softly, hoping that soon, she’d be one of those moms calling her babies in as the evening crept up on the day. She heard the front door open and hurried to meet Trigg in the hall. He had a huge paper bag full of small plastic containers. “I hope I got everything,” he said, holding out the bag. “I know you wanted dumplings, and spring rolls, and satay beef, but the menu was so extensive I just ended up ordering two of everything.” She laughed,
