I met my dull gaze with that of another man in the mirror, also pale. It was me, that man in the mirror! A gleam of light penetrated from the east and coloured the room of this house with unknown and fuzzy dawn. Where am I? That was the second question I asked this morning in the light that was exposing my bleeding wounds. In the room: a regal bed, fine drapery, bright curtains, Persian carpets. I could have been in a Heavenly room, but I certainly didn't deserve Heaven in my life.
