After all the embarrassment that I had been through we finally arrived at his company.
I never thought that he also has a company here in Maine. I thought I can finally escape him but it looks like the world is too small for both of us.
I followed him as he stepped inside the building. I saw his employees looking at him then they will whispering something as if they are gossiping about us.
I ignored them and simply followed Theodore until we stepped inside the elevator.
I didn't bother to utter any words all I did is to follow in his footsteps.
"Are you okay?" he asked without looking at me. I looked at our reflection in the elevator door and then nod my head.
