Preparation day

"Mother we have to go and buy me another pair of shoes because the ones we bought are too tight and I also need a truck suit for my Gym classes".

"Okay baby go and tell dad to give you money we start off"

"Daddy! mummy says give us some money we have to go and buy school stuff"

"Okay my Angel tell mum to get the my bank card on your way back get me some Chinese food"

my mother and I started our journey to the mall I wanted so many things but I couldn't get them because our main focus are only school stuff.I disciplined my self to not cry for any stuff I did not need.

"I am now a grown up ill be going to school on my own, this means no crying in the mall " i silently whispered to myself then smiled.

"Wow mother look at those white sneakers they are perfect for Gym class".

"Okay baby let us go into the store we see what other options we can find"

"Ooh and mother we shouldn't forget to buy Chinese for dad"

we got into the store luckily we found everything we needed and headed back home.I was so happy to be going back home because I was going to spend my day with Leon I would get to know more about the big city.

"Baby get all your stuff an put them in the house and all the books in the dining table for me to cover them only then can you go and play"

"Okay mother".

I quickly did everything I was told to do and made sure I did it right.i did not want her to call me back when I finally go to play

"Leon!!

"Yes Aurora give me a second I'll be out there soon"

I was so excited to hear him saying he will be out soon that I didn't even pay attention to time passing.After the long wait Leon finally walked out

"Bestie! how are you? Are you ready for school? Have you prepared all the stuff you need? Do you have your first day outfit yet?

"Oh my God with all those questions,which one do you want me to answer Aurora"

"Sorry am super excited that we get to hung out and go to school together,how did you convince your Mom to go and change your class to mine?

"Come on Aurora, it was so easy to convince her I just told her that I finally have a friend and I want to be in the same class".

This was one of the best days, I got to know Leon and his family. They moved to the country because their parents where going through a divorce and it was hard on his young sister,Her friend at the old school used to make fun of her and even started bullying.The mother saw that the best method to the problem was to start a new life..

"Am sorry Leon,you have me now I will never leave you'

"Don't be sorry you know nothing anyway enough with stories about my father,he is with his new family now."

"okay bestie I have everything ready for tomorrow my outfit is ready,my books are cover,I am so ready."

"Good! let us go and see Aaron he has. been quite ever since our birthday I haven't head from him".

"Mother we are going to Aarons place"!

"it is just two blocks away we will be there in no time".

we walked to Aarons house while playing and talking about how happy we are that we are finally first graders.Leon mentioned that he is happy that he is just my next door neighbor he doesn't have to walk a distance to see me.

we had so much fun that day that we even decided what to wear on our first day and said we will form a secret club.Later that day we walked back home and when I reached home I went straight to shower then had my supper.

"Time for bed honey tomorrow is a big day and I need you well rested"
