Last night was one of the hardest to go to bed, all I had in my mind was the lab results. I woke up early to make a meal for mum and prepare for classes.

"Good morning Dad"

"Good morning baby girl, how was your night"

"All good thanks, how is mom and where is she?"

I was so curious to know if they had discussed about the results but dad was so cool it made me think maybe she didn't tell him.

"Your mother is fine dear she just doesn't was to step out of bed today so I'll be serving the queen"

"Okay dad I will go and say bye soon"

"Okay baby girl don't be too loud you do know she needs to rest, those tests she went through yesterday really drain her"

" Alright dad "

Stressing wasn't the best right now, mum knew me so well and being stressed will be hard on her, she is already passing through a lot. I had my meal and went into her room.

" Good morning mother "

" Good morning my Angel "

" You don't need to get up Mama, I just came to see you before I leave for school.Is there anything I can give you before I go?"

She slowly shook her head seeing mum like that got me tearing up but I didn't want her to see me I quickly walked out.

"I love you my Angel"

That was so soft it touched my heart, I wiped my tears off and went back to give her a kiss.

"I love you Mama, See you later."

I did not want to leave the house but I had no choice. Immediately I walked out of the house Leon was standing right there it was all I needed. I hugged Leon and burst into tears he understood everything just from the hug. He did not questions me and just embraced me.

" Hey hey everything will be fine, stop crying you will have puffed eyes "

" Leon am scared mum is getting by the day "

" Don't worry bestie jus be her strength, let us go to school we will get permission to leave early "

"Okay let us go "

Our walk was so quiet and awkward, it was like Leon did not know what to say up until we meet with Aaron.

" Hey baby, are you fine ?"

" Yah am fine babe, why do you ask ?

" Your eyes are puffy and you were not picking my calls last night,Talk to me "

" I was jus tired babe am fine "

"Hey man thank God we meet you the quietness was killing me"

"What quietness, something is definitely wrong because Aurora can't be quite this long"

" Hey bro am gonna give you and your girl some space see you later "

I didn't not want Leon to leave Aaron was going to ask me alot of questions.

" Okay bro see you say hi to Emma "

" Babe how was your day? "

Trying to throw Aaron off made him more suspicious. I could not hold am on anymore, I told him all about the hospital all about Alexis and about the lab results which I wasn't sure I read right. Sharing with Aaron made the load alot lighter, I was ready for the day but still wanted my half day. All was done at school and was granted permission to leave early.

" Hey Leon let's go "

" Tell Aaron, Emma and I have something to do am really sorry for this "

" No it's all fine am just going to head home anyway "

"Alright bestie talk care of yourself, I love you"

That was the first time I got that from him it only made me see that he felt sorry for me and I did not want that especially from him.I then just smiled at him and headed home.

"Hey Mama am back"

I walked to her room she was fast asleep, I then just joined her in bed and cuddled.Being in my mothers arms was so comforting after a long day.After our long nap mom told me to run her a bath.

"My Angel make a family meal or order one of your favorites"

"Okay mum I'll make a meal dad will be back soon"

I was so happy to be making a meal for my family,I made sure the food was so delicious they will be happy to have the meal we would have family time. I called Dad to bring some of the missing ingredients. Aaron came over and help me in the kitchen.

"Ooh wow when did you become a chef"

"Aaron stop, you know am good"

"Baby you do know I love you right".

"Yah I know man, why are you saying that? are you dumping me?"

"Oh my God why do you say so"

"Because that's how they start a break up in movies "

"Baby this isn't a movie jus wanted to tell you I'll always be by your side, I have to go your dad is home you need family time "

"Okay babe thank you for the help"

Dad walked in with the finally ingredients and went to shower.After an hour our dinner was ready.

"Mum, Dad dinner is ready"

"Okay sweetheart we will be out there soon"

My parents came down and we had our dinner.

"This food is delicious we don't have to be doing takeouts anymore"

"No dad we will be doing takeouts okay cooking is a lot of work"

"Bummer I won't be enjoying my girls meals"

"Mama will be perfectly fine soon,we will be enjoying her food"

Seeing the happiness in family made me so happy I was the happiest on the world.while we were all laughing and joking around mum suddenly mum became serious.

"Hey I want to tell you all something really important"

The smiles in our faces suddenly changed into worry, I did not want to be the first to speak instead I just stared at dad.

"Finish you meal first honey"

"Sweety I am stuffed,I just have to let this out of my mind"

"Okay sweetheart we are all ears".

My legs where shaking and my heart beating so fast,the atmosphere change in the room made me and my dad so frightened of what we are about to her.

"Well the results for the tests I did yesterday was out the same day and the cancer has spread all over my body "

"What! You can still fight it mum?"

Dad's face dropped and went silent.

"No sweetheart the doctors have tried everything but I just have 6 months left to live.
