The day

"Good morning baby,it is time to get up".

"No mother it is just too early give me a few extra minutes"Aurora complained

"it's time for you to prepare for school,do you want to be late for your first class"

l got up so fast hearing the mention of school,With so much excitement I went straight to the shower and let my mother dress me.I looked so pretty that when I went out of my room my father looked at me and give me the brightest smile ever.

"Wow my Angel you look so pretty"

"Thank you so much dad"

I had my breakfast,got my bag and stepped out to see if Leon was ready as well.We both wore the attires we discussed I smiled at him and called him out to start off

"Mother the school is just around the corner,I'll be walking there with Leon "

"Okay my Angel just be careful with the cars on the streets.I love you"

"I love you too"

We were walking the direction of our school when we bumped into Aaron and he too was in the attire,the school was just five blocks away from my place,everyone kept on waving and praising me as we walked to school some of the people I did not even know.

"Bestie you are so famous everyone knows you around here"

"Haha it's not like that,this is a small town I think this people where at my party we invited everyone"

"You mean our party anyway Leon you will see give it just two days you will know everyone"

"Okay Aaron , look we are almost there the walks to school will be so much fun"

The day was so awesome we had our lesson and we sat next to each other when lunch hour came we were all so hungry.

"Hey Leon let us go and play foot ball after our meal"

"Alright Aaron ,can Aurora come too"

"Of course my little sister will just have to join us".

"Aaron!!

We all had a quick laugh and had our lunch.The school was so small that the very same day I knew all of the first graders.It was soon time to go back for classes.

"Hello children I hope you all had a great lunch it is time for us to go back to learning" the teacher disclosed

"You know we have such an amazing teacher"

"Yes we for sure will enjoy learning here"

I whispered to Leon and Aaron before we knew it,it was time to go home I was so excited that I did not even see time pass.On my way back home I met my mother on her way to the market place,I insisted in going with her, that only made me more tired. When we got home from the market I went straight to take a nap I didn't even tell my parents about how my first day was or what an amazing teacher I had.

YEARS LATER

Alot had happened over the years and I was in my last year at school.It was about that time where we all where applying for university learning I did not know what I want to do for a leaving, I got so used to just doing what my parents expected of me.I only had one secret that I really wanted to tell my parents but I wasn't so sure of how they where going to react to it.

"Hey Leon I want to go for a party tonight since you don't want to go can we do what we always do".

"It's not that I don't want to go you know am not one of the cool kids"

"No! you are my best friend you are a cool kid,you just don't want to"

"One day we will get caught with this trick we do just for you to go and party"

"Don't jinx it!"

"Anyway I'll sleep in your room tonight just so your mum sees there is someone when she comes to check on you"

Thank you so much bestie you are the best you have saved me all this year's,I have never missed any party,I owe you one.

I screamed so loud and interrupted the sentence because I knew so we'll what he wanted to say.
