====== Dear Diary ======= I know I said I like Hunter. But I think I like Blake Good more. I used to like Hunter of all Wesley's friends but what Blake did for me today made me like him more. I used to think he doesn't like me because he didn't talk much in my presence but I was wrong. If he didn't like me, he wouldn't have done what he did today. So you know in high-school how there are a bunch of mean girls whose sole purpose is just to be mean? Well, yea, they exist in college too. There's a bunch of mean girls who have been up my a*s lately. And the worst part is, one of the mean girls is my very evil step-sister, Kimberly. She's a walking nightmare. Dad left us and married her witch of a mother and because of that, Kimberly seems to really think she's better than me. Brushing it in my face every chance she gets. Reminding me that my own dad left us for them because they are better... She's actually the ring-leader of the stupid mean group. They time when I'm alone and they start picking on me and saying all these mean things. But today was different. I left the library and Kimberly and her g**g seemed to have been waiting for me outside. They started throwing insults my way and when I tried to walk away, she blocked my way. She was really calling for it, abusing me verbally and I had had enough so I slapped her. Angrily, she slapped me back. A crowd had started to gather, enjoying the show. But what pissed me off about this is that even her friends were helping her beat me. Blake showed up like a hero and fought them off. He cussed at the girls and told them they should be ashamed of themselves. He pulled me away from the scene and took me out for some fresh air. He got me water and sat next to me on the stone bench in the school park. He looked at me in worry, "Are you okay?" No one had ever defended me like that. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ **** Present day.... Blake Good rushed to the washrooms after Hunter ran to the exit door at school. He locked himself up, sat on the toilet seat and broke down into tears. Tears that burnt his cheeks. Tears that stabbed his heart. A lot had been happening... It was just too much. He felt like he wanted to stop. Like everything had to stop... It was much more than he could take in... It was becoming too much and he had to stop. His friends were falling apart. He was falling apart. His bodysize was getting bigger and worse. At home everything was falling apart... His life was all round falling apart. Everything was going left for him! He knew he had to stop but he couldn't... He just couldn't... He was about to take it out when someone suddenly knocked on the door. His heart leaped and he immediately stopped. He wiped off his tears and took in a deep breathe. "Who is it?" "Tyler..." "What do you want?" "I saw you crying as you rushed to the washrooms. Are you-" "Just leave me alone, man!" "Hey, I just-" "LEAVE!!!" **** Nina Locke sat next to Jerome Mead at the cafeteria both of them having fries. They hang out a lot nowadays at the cafeteria. They weren't what you'd call friends, more like acquaintances. She just hang out with him to avoid the loneliness that engulfed her most of the time. Jerome was witty and quirky the few times they had hang out together. She enjoyed his company alot. He wasn't what you'd call cute but he had this wild brunette shoulder - length hair that matched perfectly with his small brown eyes. She found him actually cool in his square glasses and his blue headphones always swinging on his neck. Jerome stole a chunk of her fries from her plate and burst out a laugh. She faked a frown and cried, "Dude! I'm hungry!" "Thought you needed some help with those..." She showed him the middle finger. "f**k you too!" he laughed. Nina dug into her fries and sighed. "You heard Mrs. Yang is dead?" "Yeah... Poor woman," he sympathised. "They are saying she was killed..." "It just... Breaks my heart. First Audrey then Mrs. Yang. What is this town turning into?" "A pool for the dead," he said coolly. "And the worst thing is that the killer is walking free in the light of day... Walking amongst us. Planning for the next victim." That was the scariest part for Nina. "Anyone could be a killer," he said gruffly. "You might be talking to him right now." Nina slapped his cheek lightly. "Stop it with the stupid jokes!" "But your friend... Hunter-" "He's not my friend," she corrected, feeling a flicker of sympathy for what had happened to Hunter earlier. "But I don't think he did it..." "The whole school thinks he did it. I heard the police have solid evidence that he did it. So, why don't you think he did it? You're his alibi or something?" "I've stayed with the g**g for almost two years now. I know who would do it and who wouldn't. Hunter Wouldn't." "Who would do it?" Jerome asked curiously. "Wesley!" she said with spite. "You're just saying that because you two broke up. You're still angry at him." "You know nothing, Jerry..." "Don't call me that!" "What did you say, Jerry?" He gripped a chunk of her fries from her platter and stuffed them in his mouth. "You said you're hungry, huh!" he teased her talking with fries in his mouth. "Jerry! I'm hungry!" she cried as she fought him. He fought back, throwing his fries at her face. Before they knew it, they were fighting like kids at the cafeteria until someone disrupted. They looked up to see "The g**g", Wesley standing in the middle like the ring leader. "So you hang out with losers nowadays!" Wesley snickered. "You couldn't find a better replacement of us, huh! Such a shame!" Tyler intruded. "Hey man! Let's go to our table..." Nina shot up. "No. Me and my loser will leave since you bunch of miserable monsters decided to spoil our appetite. Let's go, Jerome." "Did she just call us miserable monsters? The nerve! Why do you bother to talk to this b***h dude!" Rence spit. Nina glared at him. "The only b***h here is you, Rence! You are a desperate stupid b***h! You forced yourself into a g**g that didn't want you in the first place!" Rence took a step closer to her, anger rushing through him. Wes and Ty shoved him off. "Dude! Stop it! Calm down!" Wes demanded. Rence obeyed his command reluctantly, his teeth gritted and his fists clenched as Tyler tried to calm him down. "Let's go Jerome!" Nina paved the way for Jerome to pass so that they could leave but Wesley grabbed her arm, upset with her. He whispered coldly. "You know that loser is our enemy! Stop hanging out with him or else-" "Or else what!" she hissed. "He will follow Audrey." **** Wesley sat next to Jacob at the lunch table with Rence and Tyler sitting on the opposite seat. They were all having fries and Wesley was the first to dig into his while the others looked at him in shock. "What?" "We heard what you told Nina," said Jacob. "What?" "You know what you just told her," said Ty in disbelief. "Guys... Cool down..." he chortled. "I was just messing around with her head..." They all didn't seem to believe him. "What? You really think I'd kill Audrey and her mom? And worst of all frame Hunter for it? Please!" "How do you know someone is framing Hunter?" Rence asked suspiciously. "It's obvious!" he laughed it off. "Guys are you for real? You really think I'd be cold enough to kill someone?" "You didn't like Audrey," Ty added. "I don't like a lot of people! That makes me a killer?" They all went silent and dug into their lunchboxes. But from the looks on their faces, Wesley could see the suspicion in their eyes. It didn't sit well with him. Tyler cleared his throat. "And about Hunter..." Wes grimaced. "What about him?" "You sat there and did nothing as everyone accused him!" he retorted. "He would have defended you if it was you in his shoes..." "That sick psycho was f*****g my girlfriend and smiling in my face at the same time. I never would have done that to him!" he exclaimed. "So don't f*****g try to paint this good picture of him! Who knows? He might have killed Audrey and Mrs. Yang for all i know!" "Hunter didn't do it!" Jacob defended. "He would have told us!" Wesley rolled his eyes. "Can we stop talking about that sick homo? You'll make me lose my appetite!" Silence ensued, the three of them feeling sorry for Hunter. But Wesley didn't feel sorry at all for him. He didn't feel any sympathy at all for him. He deserved what he was getting! In the silence, Wesley noticed something. " Where is Blake? " **** Blake stole some money from his mom to fuel his car. She would go berserk the minute she found out her money was missing. He would obviously deny it and lock himself up in his room. He couldn't wait to return to his room at night after completing his mission. He fuelled his car, turned on the volume of the stereo to full blast and drove on the road like a maniac. One hand on the steering wheel and the other hand, holding a cigarette. His eyes were fixed on the road. Not blinking even once. He finally came to a stop. Kingsville Hospital. He put on a black cap. A black coat with a hood. Black gloves. Big dark glasses. Perfect attire for the mission. He slid a knife in his pocket and puffed a smoke deeply. He exhaled the air out the window and looked at himself in the rear view mirror. "I can do this!" He climbed out of the car, leaving it at the hospital's parking lot. He threw the remainder of the burning cigarette in a trashcan at the entrance. He took in a deep breathe as he watched the elevators doors fall apart. He stepped in nervously, his head facing down. A dozen of doctors and nurses scampered in blathering about gibberish. He was relieved they didn't find him suspicious. The elevator dinged and the doors fell apart, the medical personnel scattering to every side of the building. He stepped out cautiously, taking out his phone. He texted for a little while before he turned on the left side, digging his phone in his pocket. He scampered to the mortuary, walking with his head facing down and his hands in the pockets of his coat. He creeped into the room and looked around for a corpse by her name. He scanned all the names till his eyes found her name. Audrey Yang. He unzipped her body and was immediately knocked by the overwhelming stench of the rotting body. Disgusted, he swiftly pulled the knife out of his coat and cut out her tongue. He quickly placed it in a sack. Mission completed successfully, he hopped into his car and took in deep breathes, trying his best not to throw up. He lit a cigarette to calm down. Feeling a bit calmer a few minutes later, he made a call. "It's done." ****
