"Time up! Stop writing"the voice of the external invigilator boomed.

I had finish writing a few minutes earlier and was going through my answer sheet,making sure everything was in order.

We were in the school all the student of junior class 3a and 33b .

both the external and internal vigilators were going round collecting answer sheet, I stood there waiting for my best friends Stephanie and Daniella.

"The exams are actually over, good luck!" He spun round and walked out of the hall while vigilators filed out behind him , all carrying various exam sheets.

Everywhere was quiet, it was truly over, no more midnight study, no more drinking coffee and eating kola to stay awake. For those who mark their various body parts with answers to presumed questions, their skin would breath a sign of relief.

"We are all seniors" a voice screamed and there was a Jublious shout of joy,student laughing,talking and dancing even those who knew they had not performed well joined the celebration .

I saw Stephanie walking towards me and I met her half way.

" Wow, it finally over no more revision and late night reading". Stephanie gushed out.

"No more pinafore, welcome skirt and blouse!" Daniella joined us.

Before long, we had all formed a big circle,moving the locker away and pulling them to each other.

We began to sing our school anthem knowing full well that this may be the our last time to sing it as junior. some of us may not make it to the senior class and other would probably not be coming to back to our school, but we cared for nothing at the end of the anthem we hugged and wish each others farewells, tears in abundance. Then we all flew out of the hall.

Me and my friends headed to our favourite place (the school orchard) it normally crowded with student but the only student were our class mate and where just wandering around the school ground.

"I can't wait to inform mom and dad that the exam is over"Stephanie said

" I wish I can tell mom too"I said my friends gave me a pity face and looking through them I know they knew how desperately I yawned for the love of my mother.

" don't worry everything will be all right " Daniella added

" Wait a minute is that not the senior prefect Jordan " Stephanie gushed out

"Yeah " I said smiling at the handsome guy coming towards us, he stares into my eyes which made me blushed.

"Hello ladies, how was the exams"he said

"It's was fine, and yours" I replied hoping he did not notice the way my body temperature was getting high.
