I turned to look at him after he said that. I suddenly felt like giving him a good beating and telling him how stupid he was, but I chose to keep mute and just listen.
"Gold has been my everything, my haven, my nest away from everything negative including Trice." He sounded like someone who lost everything. Why won't he not lose everything?
