[Trice’s POV]
“Quan'' I whispered. What is he doing here? I thought maybe I was just seeing things but the light was dim so I was not certain. I really did not want to bump into any known person. I just went back inside the room Alex showed to me and slumped into the bed. For some reason I felt very comfortable, like it was my home. The words of Alex echoing in my ears
“No, you can stay the night, I do not want you getting messed up by no man no more.” She had said no more, does that mean she knows about what I had been through? Who was Alex, just who was she, what did she know about me? I was getting exasperated by the minute.
The morning finally came, leaving me with a resolution in my heart I had to leave before Alex woke up.
