I did not get to the door when Alex popped out of nowhere and enveloped me in a tight hug. I was caught off guard. When I was released from the clamp of Alex's arms the waiter and a couple of other customers gave me a standing ovation. I was confused. I turned back to look at Quan, even though he looked fairly confused like he was hiding something.
"Really Babe, you even brought a whole pack?" Quan said, walking towards us.
" Sure thing babe, I needed a good back up team, just in case you guys slipped up on me." What does she even mean? I do not understand what she was talking about.
