she trembles the words...
I'm pregnant.
tears rolls down her cheeks and she drops to the floor.
there was a tap at the door.
" Emma are you in here?"
Emma composes herself by wiping her tears on her towel and slides the test into her hair wrap then unlocks the door and hugs Daniel.
"are you OK my dear?" he asks
"yes I am just fine" she replies as she makes her way into the bedroom to get dressed.
"dress in something nice I'm taking you out tonight for drinks" Daniel says while he ties his tie.
" please sit down I have something to say"
Emma pulls the test out from her hair wrap and shows Daniel.
"you're pregnant?" he asks
"yes" she replied.
"why are you crying? this is a blessing!" he reassures her.
he lifts her up and swings her around, she wiggles free and bolts for the bathroom to throw up again. " it's OK it will pass,we will stay in tonight" he says.
"we can go out still if you want to " Emma suggests.
" only if you want to".
Emma picks a cute outfit to wear but it's quite snug. "is that a bump?' Daniel asks. "no it can't be,probably bloating".
"give me a moment I'll ring the women's centre so they can see you tomorrow" Daniel suggested.
they both have a good night eating Good food,laughing and having fun.
the next morning they rise bright and early and start to get ready for the appointment at the hospital. "I'm looking forward to today" Daniel says in excitement. they make the short journey down the road to the hospital and into the ward.
they sit in the waiting room.
"Miss Emma king" a nurse shouted across the waiting area.
they get up and sit next to the desk in the clinic room. the nurse goes through so many questions and medical history.
before she invites them over to the bed where the ultrasound machine is. Emma get comftable. "now this will be a little cold" the nurse said as she squirts the gel into Emma stomach. "there you have a 7 week and 2 day old baby in there, there's the little head and belly,would you like to hear the heartbeat?" the nurse asked. "of course " they both reply. "I will just give you a moment " said the nurse.
the most amazing sound was coming from the machine. "that's our baby" Daniel said with tears. they move satisfied with hearing thier baby's heart beating healthily. the nurse returns with photos of the scan and Daniel is quick to send them to his mother. "why did you do that? what if I lose the baby and you got her hopes up?" Emma asked frustrated. "it's OK I have faith that our baby will be all OK " Daniel replied.
Daniels mother :
oh my gosh !! you and your wife must be so happy. I'll tell dad.
Daniel:
please not yet and it's not my wife's you know that she was just in place so.dad could give me the firm.
Daniels mother:
how will he react.if you got someone else pregnant. he will be furious and take away your title before.disowning.you for.having a affair.
Daniel:
I know so please keep.it shush until were ready to tell him.

Emma and Daniel return back to the villa. "I have a few things to do at the office. if.you need anything then please let anyone of my staff know.
