(Grace's POV)
My face burned as Alexander’s suggestive voice purred through our pack bond, making it nearly impossible to focus on the documents in front of me.
“Missing our intimate moments already, little wolf?” he drawled, his voice low and rich, practically dripping with amusement.
I froze. Panic shot through me as I glanced around the healing facility. My cheeks grew hot, and I prayed no one could sense the sudden spike in my emotions.
“Alexander!” I hissed under my breath, mortified. “I’m at work! Do you have no sense of timing?”
His deep, satisfied chuckle was impossible to miss. It rippled through our bond, sending an involuntary shiver down my spine. “Work? Is that what you call running away after last night?”
