(Alexander's POV)
Beta James handed me a thick folder, his usual professional calm masking whatever turmoil he may have felt under my volatile energy.
“Alpha, these are detailed guest records from the Silver Moon Hotel,” he started, his tone brisk. “They include classifications, pack affiliations, and recent stays. I’ve marked potential candidates who fit the profile of…” He trailed off slightly before finishing. “…the healer known as Moonlight.”
I didn’t react outwardly, but inside, my wolf stirred dangerously. It hated the idea of anyone else even coming close to what could be connected to Grace.
“I’ll review them,” I said shortly, taking the file and flipping through its contents as the vehicle sped toward neutral territory.
