I stood silent under the piercing weight of Helena’s gaze. The tension in the room was suffocating, Sophia’s earlier tantrum now reduced to shaky breaths as she shrank away from Helena's commanding presence.
"Sophia..." Helena’s voice was soft but deadly, a tone that sent shivers through everyone gathered. "You accuse your Luna with no evidence? Do you think the bonds of this pack, the laws that bind us, are yours to twist for your petty grievances?"
"She’s not—" Sophia started, but the words died in her throat as Helena’s piercing violet-gold eyes turned on her, practically glowing with raw power.
"You dare?" Helena’s words cut through her like a blade. The air shifted, heavy with an ancient energy I’d never felt before.
