"Ms. Jean's assistant didn't understand why she stopped at HR and proceeded. " "Take the paper to Mr. Greenburg, I'll review it later." You may start tomorrow. Even though Ada had no professional experience, having experience of witting scripts was enough. Ada bent slightly. She left the interview happy. Ada felt happy after leaving the tower. She now felt hopeful about her future. Her fortunes improved. She grabbed a taxi to the Woods' home. Soon, the taxi pulled up in front of the Woods. Ada paid the driver and left. She stepped in gently. BBerry furrowed her eyebrows and said, "Why isn't it Ada?" Ada grimaced at seeing Berry's diamond jewelry. Ada once saw it in her mother's jewelry box. But Berry got it. Berry fiddled with her groomed nails, ignoring Ada. "Marrying a cripple can't be easy, right?" Ada whispered, "Is Alfred here?" She thanked William for feigning paralysis so she might return. Would Berry have allowed her daughter marry William if she known he wasn't crippled? William was gorgeous, talented, and rich. Women desired him. Ada didn't want to spend time with Berry while Alfred wasn't home. When she approached the door, acar pulled up and stopped. Alfred hopped out as the driver opened the door. Alfred suspected Ada may ask for Elizebeth's dowry as she stood at the doorway. He darkened. He interrupted her without waiting. "Do one thing for me to earn your mother's dowry." “ Ada sighs. You claimed you'd repay everything if I married William Greenburg.” Alfred scowled. "Why did I want you to marry Greenburg? Because it helps the Woods' social and commercial position!" "You're too naive!" Alfred sneered. "I'm your dad.Is this how you want to talk to me?” Ada was devastated. He lied. “ If you want your mother's dowry, tell William to grant me Mountain Hill's development rights. “ I'll return everything your mother brought during our marriage, including the violin she bought you for your birthday. “ William had Alfred's land... If she intended to exploit Alfred's vulnerability, she had to work on her 'newlywed spouse' But how? Although officially married, they were more like strangers or worse. Ada returned home without a solution. "Didn't you say I could start tomorrow?" Ada worried. "We can't employ you. You don't pass the inverview.” The caller hung up instantly. Ada viewed her phone. She was temporarily absent-minded. Nighttime. William went straight to his room after arriving home. Ada learned from Rose in the afternoon about William's cuisine preferences and was ready to cook for him. Rose grinned, "That's what a wife should do." Ada smiled and bowed. She wouldn't flatter him if she wasn't at his mercy. Rose sighed, "The madam died long ago, and the master remarried." Ada listened without interrupting. “Don't worry. You're his wife." Rose comforted her by patting her sshoulders. Although they were married, it never felt that way. ”Rose, where are the coffee beans? I'll make him coffee. “Rose felt Ada was considerate, so she gave her coffee beans and said, "Don't add sugar or milk." Young master dislikes sweets. Ada nodded and quickly prepared coffee. She put some into a dainty coffee cup and carried it herself. William was impatiently asking over the phone, "What's up with HR?" Is it hard to find a script writer?I'll give the HR manager one day. If he can't employ in a day, tell him to go!" Doorbell rang. The knocking halted William's rage. He yelled sharply, "Come in!" Ada's stomach cramped. Ada grinned and said, "I prepared you some coffee." William looked at her face then her coffee cup. He squinted. She avoided him like the plague in the morning, but now she's bringing him coffee? William sat down after replacing his phone. He was curious what she was doing. Ada brought him coffee. William sat still. His body relaxed till he was slouched against his chair. Ada said, "Try it." William squinted and realized something. "Are you charming me because you want to inquire about that property in Mountain Hill?" Ada was stunned. She didn't believe he'd understand that quickly. William seized Ada'chin and said, "Is this why the Wood family insists you marry me, a cripple?" Ada's chin hurt from his strong fingertips. William tossed her. Ada lost her footing and spilled her coffee. Black liquid flowed from the cup and soaked his papers. At this, William's face clouded. Ada didn't expect this as she hastily wiped the coffee dry. William ripped the blankets off and yelled, "Get out! Didn't you hear?" Ada left. "These too!" William grumbled. Ada got the cup outdoors. William went to bed after supper. Ada sighed. He was a jerk. It was difficult to get near to him, much alone reclaim the land from Alfred. Ada bathed and then slept. She struggled, unable to sleep. She got out of bed. She felt bad about spilling coffee on his papers in the afternoon. She tiptoed into his study to apologize. She turned on the lights and noticed soggy sheets on the table. It was an outline of a script, she awed at the inspiration and immediately got a pen and began to write, thoughts flows. She wrote 10 papers in one breath. She stopped writing and massaged her weary wrists. After arranging the papers, she went to bed. Ada was sleeping while William ate breakfast the following morning. She overslept yesterday night. Due of her pregnancy, she slept in today. William grimaced, "She's still sleeping?" Rose nodded. "Young master, I know you don't like Miss Wood, but the madam blessed your marriage when she was alive. She's considerate, too. Last night, she cooked your favorite foods after asking about them. She made you coffee.” Ada flattered him to get Mountain Hill property for the Woods. This amused William. "Don't be fooled by her looks," he told Rose. He returned the coffee-stained paperwork to the corporation from his study. He needed a fresh copy. Upon entering the study, he knew someone had been there. Rose and Mathew were the only ones allowed in his study. Even Jean was new. Intruder? She snuck inside his study?
