William entered the mansion with Ada.
Mathew told Jean that Greenburg had married Wood. They're married even though he doesn't love her.
Jean asked Matthew why she fainted if she wasn't unwell.
Matthew trusted Jean more than Ada since they worked together.
Jean had been alone with William for so long. So he supported Jean.
William took Ada inside the room and set her down. Ada grabbed his collar as he stood up.
William was surprised when he saw her hands on his collar.
She appeared in anguish and was almost frantic as he glanced at her.
"Ada?" asked William. Ada was deaf.
She was confused. She seemed upset, but shortly regained composure, released go of William, and fell asleep.
William stood up, gazed at her for a few seconds, then went.
Jean sat on the couch clutching a drink.
