It was always stuck to him like a curse. Every time he comes here, bad things must happen.
"What happened to Luna?" I asked the maids who had just rushed in, ignoring Kia's snide remark.
"She's not breathing," one of the maids announced, causing us to rush out of the chamber toward Alexa's room.
"Didn't I say you should taste her meals before serving her?" I asked them as we walked speedily.
"We did, Alpha,"
"Every one of them," they added.
I wasn’t getting what these maids were saying. I needed to go find out for myself.
