Kia. Kia. He never ran out of style. I thought to myself as he walked towards me. Still, Alexa wasn't with him.
"I guess the week has come to an end, or what do you think?" I sneered, my eyes preying deep into him, and to my astonishment, he chuckled.
"Yes, you are right, Your Eminence," he bowed slightly. Thankfully, he still had an ounce of respect in him.
"So, where's she?" My voice came out steady as I tapped on the arm of my throne.
"Alexa isn't with me, but I bring forth good news to you." His grin grew larger as he sat on one of the chairs in my throne room.
The incompetent, lazy, foolish—he’s got some striking nerves. I had a feeling he was still not going to get Alexa after the end of his grace period. Thanks to the moons, Selene had come to my rescue.
