"Your Majesty, Vivian is here to see you," my chamber guard announced.
Damn. How long have I been asleep? I rubbed my sleepy eyes as I dragged my feet off the bed, unlocking the door.
"Vivian," I said coolly as I let her in.
"Luna," she smiled as she kept a tray of cut pineapples on the table.
She looked brighter and better today and wasn't limping as bad as I remembered.
"How are you doing today? You were a mess last night," I said as I sat on the bed, blinking repeatedly to adjust my eyes to the light.
