Daisy POV Few minutes passed, and I heard the sound of a key unlocking the door. I stood from my bed with the little strength I had left in me, hoping, praying that it would be my father who had come to rescue me from this living nightmare. But, as the door swung open, my expectations were cruelly dashed. Instead of my father's warm and reassuring smile, I was left with Rosa's sympathetic gaze. I was disappointed and sad.
