I headed to the kitchen for a glass of water and found Rosa there. I was still trying to process my feelings about her after the accident.
I turned my back and was about to leave when I heard her voice call out to me, “Ma’am, what brings you here” she asked with a friendly smile, but I refused to buy it.
I ignored her and got my water, not wanting to get drawn into any conversation.
As I walked to my room, I saw a door slightly open. I peeked inside and saw Giovanni sleeping at his desk. It immediately reminded me of our intense moment we had a few minutes ago, and I felt a shiver run down my spine.
It was like I could still feel his touch on my skin, and my heart started racing. I felt drawn to him, even though I knew I shouldn’t.
